Michael T. Wolf attended Trenton State College from 1986-1990. He graduated suma cum laude in May 1990 with a degree in Law and Justice. From there, he attended Widener University School of Law from August 1990-May 1993 where he received his Juris Doctor with cum laude honors.
In the fall of 1992, he received the American Jurisprudence Award from Lawyers Cooperative Publishing for his excellence in family law. In 1993, he was honored with the Outstanding Clinician Award, which is given to the top staff attorney.
Mr. Wolf worked for the Harrisburg, PA, Civil Law Clinic, the law school's legal clinic. At the legal clinic, he was a staff attorney who represented indigent clients in bankruptcy and consumer fraud actions.
He was the Case Note Editor for the Widener Law Newspaper. He received invaluable experience through 2 judicial internships. The first internship was for a Municipal Court Judge in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The second internship was for the Honorable Linda R. Feinberg, J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, Mercer County. During this internship, he also worked for the Honorable Philip S. Carchman, who then was the Presiding Judge of the Family Part.
Mr. Wolf Began his career in family law after law school graduation. His career began as a law clerk to the honorable Linda R. Feinberg, the Assignment Judge of the Family Part for Mercer County from September 1993 to August 1994.
After his clerkship, he was hired in September 1994 as an associate with the firm Pogarsky, Louis & Santangelo in Toms River, New Jersey. The firm partners were Robert Santangelo, Alan J. Pogarsky, and Frank A. Louis. Mr. Porgasky became a Superior Court Judge in Ocean County, and has since retired. Mr. Louis practices family law and is consistently listed as one of the top family lawyers in New Jersey.
In January 1997, he became a partner in the firm Frank A. Louis, P.C. The following year, Patricia B. Roe became a partner and the firmed was re-named, Louis, Roe & Wolf. The practice was limited only to family law matters.
When Patricia Roe became a Superior Court Judge in October 2004, the firm was renamed to Louis & Wolf. Mr. Wolf left the firm in May 2005 and opened his existing firm in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on June 1, 2005.
